Magara farm, located in the north of Madrid, sought to be a place for research and dissemination of analog forestry. In this way, the design of the farm was based on the insertion, among the existing vegetation on the farm, of mosaics of analogous copses that had the same ecosystem and landscape functions as the native forest but that increased its productivity through the introduction of analogous species and passive capture and retention systems for water and nutrients.
